Central Catholic erupted for seven runs in the final two innings, running away for a 9-1 victory that ended Concord-Carlisle's 14-game winning streak.
Nicole Howe drove in runs with a single in the fourth inning and a double in the sixth. Brianna Martin's second double of the day scored a pair in the sixth, and sophomore Leslie Moore delivered the clinching blow — a three-run homer in the seventh, for Central's fifth straight victory.
"We've struggled at times to get back-to-back hits," said Raider head coach Stacy Ciccolo. "We were able to put three or four hits together (yesterday) and that's nice to see come tourney time."
Meg Donegan had the game under control in the circle for Central, striking out 10 in going the distance.
