Lawrence lost Game 1 25-15 but stormed back to win the next three games to hand Central Catholic (6-1) its first loss of the season. 

"The boys stayed with it. They kept their cool," said Lancer coach Tony Hajjar, whose club improved to 7-1.

 Joel Rodriguez (10 kills) and Jose Vargas (15 kills) were immense in the middle for the Lancers while Mike Hovnanian contributed 26 digs for Central.
