After struggling through the first three Nobles batters, Brooks hurler James Williams of North Andover settled down tremendously, throwing six strong innings. Unfortunately, the damage was done as Nobles won, 4-1. Nate Potter made three great plays "that you won't see a lot of high school third basemen make," according to head coach John Fahey. Dan Conway had a leadoff triple in the third inning, scoring Brooks' lone run.
