Andover volleyball crushed Billerica 25-4, 25-8, 25-17 to remain perfect at 4-0. Andrew Osborne led the way with eight kills, Mike Emmons dished out 22 assists, and Andrew Kanell was strong at the net with seven blocks.
Read More »Matt Washburn had a big game for Andover in its five-game win over Newton South. In spite of trailing 14-11 at one point in the decisive game, the Warriors stormed back to win 17-15. Washburn racked up 20 kills and 10 blocks while Mike Emmons dished out 32 assists. Tommy Busta played great defense in his first action of the season (he had been sidelined with a shoulder injury), as did Mike Todisco.
