Danny Haugh, St. John's Prep: Senior winger assisted on a pair of first period goals to help the Eagles completed a two-game series sweep of the defending Super 8 champions from B.C. High Saturday with a 3-2 win.

Andrew Fulford, Gloucester: Senior captain buried a pair of first period goals, including one on the power play, as Gloucester rebounded from its first loss of the year with a 3-1 home win over arch rival Danvers.

Alex Baker, Beverly: Scored a career high four goals (three of those on the power play) and added two assists for career high six points as the senior defenseman led Panthers to an 8-2 rout over Salem.

Chris Bushey, Beverly: Captain and senior left wing helped Panthers to blowout win over Salem by scoring a goal and dishing out three assists. He took over as the team's leading scorer with 15 points.

Brendon Hambleton, Swampscott: Senior forward scored a goal in all three periods for a hat trick in a 4-0 triumph over arch rival Marblehead, bringing the Big Blue to within one point of their first tournament berth in 11 years.

Pat Doliber, Bishop Fenwick: Two goals and two assists gave the senior center from Marblehead 26 points on the season, helping pace Fenwick past Marian, 7-2, in Catholic Central League play.

Cam Smith, Andover: After recording only two goals in the first eight games of the year, Smith has scored a whopping eight goals in his last six games, including a hat trick. He also has three assists during the run, and Andover is 4-0-2.

Mike Alesse, Central Catholic: The goalie was the rock in the Raiders' 2-2 tie with Malden Catholic, the top-ranked team in Eastern Mass. He had 42 stops for the Raiders in the contest.

Matt Fairburn, Haverhill: After eight games without a start, Fairburn has performed since returning to the ice. He had 22 saves in the Hillies' win over Methuen, and 22 more in their tie with Lincoln-Sudbury.

Derek Tomes, Salem, NH: Tomes picked a good day to find his scoring touch. With only three goals on the season, the senior recorded a hat trick in Salem's crucial victory over New Hampshire power Bishop Guertin, 4-2.

Zach Fox, Timberlane: Is anyone in the Valley hotter than Fox? In Timberlane's last four games, the Owls sophomore has eight goals including a hat trick against Winnacunnet. This has helped Timberlane on its eight-game winning streak.
