Prep improves to 11-2 and plays host to state's top-ranked Catholic Memorial on Friday night.

Boo Torrisi's scary defense held Notre Dame of Hingham's top scorer to two points and Pentucket avenged an early-season loss to N.D. with a 35-20 win. Kelsi McNamara nailed five treys for a game-high 17 points.

Jessica Witten scored a game-high 19 points and Colleen Caveney added 16 points as Andover snapped a two-game losing streak by beating Methuen 64-39.

Jordan Parece and Hannah Paitchel each scored 13 points as Pelham girls won its first game of the season, 59-39 over St. Thomas Aquinas. 

Senior guard Murphy Carroll poured in 19 points, including netting five 3-pointers, and Madison Carroll added 13 points to lead Methuen girls to its second victory of the season. The Rangers won 58-33.
