Jason Kinney started off strong and his Salem teammates followed suit, leading to an easy 3-0 victory over winless Coe-Brown. Kinney finished with 12 kills, 8 blocks and 8 service points and got solid help from C.J. DeMarco (10 service points and 11 digs) and Justin O'Brien (8 digs).

Pinkerton easily glided to its seventh victory of the season, rolling past Mascenic, 25-12, 25-10, 25-21. Steve Curry (team-high five kills), Dan Goodwin, and Chad Scott (10 service points) all played well for the Astros.

The Salem boys volleyball team stayed unbeaten (10-0), but it gave up its first individual game of the season in a 3-1 victory over Pinkerton. Salem won 25-17, 25-14, 22-25, 25-11.

Londonderry's offense was flowing smoothly in a 25-14, 25-14, 25-15 victory over Coe-Brown. Mark Cwalinski passed for 31 assists, feeding Troy Rooney (11 kills) and Matt Hersey (9 kills) up front. Nick Berry defended the net well with 3 blocks to go with 6 kills.

Timberlane boys volleyball took over possession of second place with a 3-0 win over Pinkerton. Conor Dube, Matt Dionne and Max Laroche led the way.

The Salem boys volleyball team won its 99th straight match since 2004, rolling past Londonderry in three games (25-14, 25-16, 25-17) to move to 6-0 on the year. The Blue Devils haven't lost an individual game all year.

Salem's boys volleyball team (5-0) won its 98th straight match, 25-8, 25-18, 25-12 over Keene. Joe Gallant led in kills with 11, Kyle Ruffen had eight blocks and C.J. DeMarco had four aces among 12 service points.

In an early battle of unbeatens, Salem survived a mid-match challenge from Timberlane to prevail, 25-15, 25-21, 25-11.

The Blue Devils (4-0, 97 straight victories including playoffs) ruled in every area of play. Chris Barnes had a career-high 34 assists while adding six blocks and three digs. Dan Tiner (14 kills and seven blocks) commanded the net and C.J. DeMarco (11 digs and a 98 percent passer rating) was strong on the back line.

Timberlane's Conner Dude paced the team with 46 Assists. Terry Matatall had 18 kills, Tim Anderson 17 Kills and Matt Dionne had 12 kills in a good win for Timberlane as they improve to 2-0.

Salem volleyball continued its impressive run with a 25-4, 25-12, 25-16 win over Oyster River. The Blue Devils, who have now won 96-straight matches, were led by Alex Gomes, who led with 18 assists and scored 16 service points with eight aces.
