Timberlane senior standout Matt Morris made a rousing return from a wrist injury with a pair of pins in a 60-0 rout of Exeter and 16-0 shutout of Sanborn. Andrew Tanner also wrestled well for the Owls (8-0) with a 43-second pin and 9-0 major decision.

Frosh deliver

 

Georgetown recorded its biggest dual-meet win in years, edging North Reading/Lynnfield 39-34. Freshman Matt Prescott, who was trailing at the time, had a huge pin at 145, and in the last match of the day freshman 103-pounder Mike Gallanar clinched the win with a 7-1 decision.

Pelham's wrestling team was tied up with Campbell 36-36, but the Pythons were declared the winner on the fourth tiebreaker criteria (most wins) to improve to 4-0. Junior Matt Blanchard turned the tide at 189 pounds, Trailing 10-4 in the second period, he got a quick escape, takedown and pin.
