Whittier boys cross country swept Essex Tech to improve to 4-0 while the girls lost. Both winners were Wildcats: Michael Driscoll for the boys and Noel Tripp for the girls.

Whittier Tech used its team balance to finish second in the State Vocational Tournament that was won by Shawsheen. Sebastien Boisvert, Youscarl Nina (120), Lukas Rousseau (138), Ethan Calderwood (145) and Anthony Moran (170) all took third place.

The Whittier boys basketball team got scoring from 12 different players in an 81-54 blowout win over Essex Tech. Abdiel Torre (18 points), Anthony Couture (16) and Angel Rodriguez (12) led the way for the Wildcats.
