The Sachems (9-6) beat the Clippers on their last regular season home game, 18-7, and gave fond farewells to seniors Zoe McKenzie, K.C. Jones, Sarah Evers, Kayla Jewett, Autumn Gadd, and Kayla Melville. Jones (5 goals and 2 assists), Brianna Yocum (3 goals and 1 assist), Jewett (2 goals and 1 assist), Stephanie Fitzgerald (2 goals and 1 assist), Vanessa Cahill (2 goals and 1 assist), Zoe McKenzie (1 goal and 1 assist), Shannon Beaton (1 goal), Valerie Grimm (1 goal), Sarah Kopaciewicz (1 goal), Sarah Evers (1 assist), and Sarah Higgins (1 assist) all recorded points in the win. Jones, Jewett, and Melville were named to the CAL All-Star team, and Yocum was named to the CAL All-League team.

Rachelle Bourque won two events — the shot put (33-2) and javelin (116-1) — for Triton (10-0). Tori Clay (400 hurdles, 1:12.1), Adele Kneeland (2-mile, 13:49), Ashley Pinette (discus, 106-8), Meredith McWeeney (100, 13.4), Colleen Loughlin (mile, 5:34), Brittany Caprio (400, 1:02.9), Hadley Crossman (200, 27.7), the 4x100 relay team of McWeeney, Crossman, Jordan Antonucci, and Latham (51.5), and the 4x400 team of Clay, Lauren Breen, Bethany Saunders, and Caprio (4:30) also placed first.

Triton's Billy Tindle won three events — the 400 hurdles (1:00.0), 100 hurdles (15.6) and long jump (19-2). Neal Lojek (2-mile, 11:10), Adam Jones (triple jump, 39-2), Adam Oullet (shot put, 41-9; discus, 124-0), Pete Buswell (pole vault, 11-0), Nate Shelter (mile, 4:43), Jared White (400, 54.7), Brian Cosgrove (800, 2:08.0), and Triton 4x100 relay team of Nate Allard, Justin Paquette, Pader Franson, and Luis Cruz (47.0) also placed first for Triton (8-2).

Pentucket 8, Triton 2

Aided by a brilliant pick-off throw by catcher Mike Doud in the fourth inning to get out of a jam and two textbook suicide-squeeze bunts, Pentucket played smart ball against Triton to come out on top.  Pentucket coach Tom L'Italien said his pitcher Adam Newell bore down in big moments and it was a great team win with timely hitting and several well-executed plays.
