Brooks' offense erupts

 

MIDDLETOWN, R.I. — The long drive to St. Georges must have made the Brooks football team anxious to get going.

The Green and White erupted for 30 points in the first quarter and had 51 at halftime before easing off for a 51-21 victory.

Nasser sparks Phillips

 

Ravenne Nasser of Methuen had a banner day for Phillips Academy with her arm and her bat as the Big Blue defeated BB&N 5-2 and then routed Tabor 18-0 in five innings. Nasser threw a four-hitter in the opener, striking out 15 and went 3 for 3 with four RBIs against Tabor. Kristina Haghdan of Pelham threw a two-hitter in the second game, striking out seven, and was 3 for 3 at the plate, scoring three runs and driving in two.

Cervizzi rushes Brooks to win

Chris Cervizzi rushed 31 times for 220 yards and thee touchdowns to lead Brooks 41-32 over St. George's.

Brooks QB KJ Moore completed 5 of 8 passes for 141 yards. He connected with Coy Candelario three times for 108 yards.
