With eight freshmen on the roster, Brooks' head coach Amy Kenneally isn't looking at her team in a rebuilding mode.
"We are remodeling, not rebuilding," said Kenneally after yesterday's 53-31 opening-day win over Pingree.
"We have so many athletic kids that allow us to run and play an uptempo-style of baskeball," said Kenneally who is looking to improve on last year's 1-17 mark.
Freshman Phalia Garcia had 17 points to lead Brooks (1-0).
