Shane Rogers hit a 3-pointer at the buzzer to give Brooks a wild 81-80 win at Thayer. The Rogers' game-winner capped a furious second-half comeback that saw Brooks overcome a 12-point deficit in the final four minutes.
The Green and White trailed by two (80-78) with 12 seconds to play when it forced a jump ball. The the ball found its way to Rogers.
"It was a totally broken play but somehow found its way into Shane Rogers' hand," said Brooks head coach John McVeigh.
Alberto Nascimento (22 points) and Jason Buco (19 points) each established personal career highs in scoring.
"I was a great win for our kids," said McVeigh. "I am proud for the way our kids stayed with it."
