Sam Murray buried a rebound off a Shane Lachance shot with six minutes left in the third, and No. 4 Andover held strong to beat No. 5 Burlington 3-2 in the Division 1 North quarterfinals on Sunday.
The Golden Warriors took a 1-0 lead in the first on an Anthony Previte goal, and Michael Feeney made it 2-0 with a goal early in the second period.
Burlington tied it late in the second, but Murray delivered the winner in the third.
Andover (14-6-2) advances to play No. 8 St. John's Prep (12-7-3) in the Division 1 North semifinals on Thursday (7 p.m.) at the Tsongas Arena in Lowell.
