NASHUA — Sanborn freshman Kristina Allard made her first attempt at the heptathlon a memorable one over the weekend.
Competing in the two-day competition, Allard finished first with 4,080 points to overcome Nashua South’s Sydney Lewis, who was the leader after the first day and finished second with 4,043. Allard had the top score in both the long jump (5.12 meters) and the 200 meters (26.34).
Brian Genet of Merrimack High won the state decathlon with 5,069 points, topping runner-up Fiston Kapongo (5,021 points) of Portsmouth Christian.
