The North Reading/Lynnfield wrestling team was thrilled to make it three in a row Saturday at the Pentucket Hokliday Tournament.

Pentucket star Josh Wesolowski, meanehile, was happy to just be on the mat.

Wesolowski has been out with an ailing back and neck, but he returned in a big way with a resounding crown in the 138-pound division. He had three straight pins and then grabbed a 16-1 technical fall over North reading/Lynnfield's Lucas Pascucci in the finals.

The other particularly impressive winner was Georgetowmn senior Constantine Galanis, who remained unbeaten (13-0) with a resounding run through the 152-pound class, sandwiching two pins with a technical fall.

Also, Whittier Tech's Xavier Boisvert shook off the effects of the flu to roll to the title at 145.

Overall, however, North Reading was dominant, placing seven in the finals while crowning three champions and amassin 217 points. Exeter was a distant second with 141 points and no other team had more than three in the finals. The top local team was the Timberlane "B" squad, in sixth.

Taking gold crowns for North Reading/Lynnfield were Max Whyman (126), Zack Monzione (160) and Brandon Troisi (285). Joe Morse (113), Jake Mullin-Bernstein (132), Lucas Pascucci (138) and Dominic Monzione (145) were all runners-up.
