Shannon Tully made seven saves as Andover posted its 18th shutout of the season, beating No. 10 Lincoln-Sudbury 3-0 in the quarterfinals of the Division 1 North tournament.
No. 2 seeded Andover will play third-ranked Weston in the semifinals at 7 p.m. tomorrow at Reading High.
"I think we played very well considering Lincoln-Sudbury was the quickest team we played all year," Andover coach Maureen Noone said. "They had a game-plan and we had to adjust."
Andover has been playing terrific defense all season long, allowing just two goals so far and posting shutouts in their past six straight games.
"I was really impressed by my defense," Noone said. "And Shannon made seven key saves."
Kate Farnham, Meagan Keefe and Julia LeBlanc all scord for Andover (18-0-2).
"Weston is an outstanding team," Noone said. "I saw them yesterday and they are extremely skilled.
Whoever executes better is going to win," Noone added.
