Pitching leads Jags to tourney upset

Keegan Parke allowed just three hits over 5.1 innings, and Aaron Osiek followed with 1.2 innings of shutout relief as No. 12 Windham upset No. 5 Concord 3-1 in the Division 1 first round. John Haga notched two hits and two RBIs and Paul Armstrong had two hits and scored a run for the Jaguars, who travel to face No. 4 Londonderry on Saturday (4 p.m.) in the quarterfinals.

Jaguars survive

Windham scored five runs in both the fourth and fifth before surviving Manchester Central's own five-spot in the seventh in a 14-11 victory. The Jaguars pounded 17 hits with Paul Armstrong providing three of them and Mason Rice, Cole Constantine, Keegan Park and John Haga each adding a pair. Windham stranded only four runners.

Jaguars hold off Exeter

Windham scored six runs in the first, added a crucial score in the third before fending off Exeter for a 7-5 win. Cole Constantine drove in a pair and earned the pitching victory with three innings of relief. John Haga delivered a key two-run double in the first. Mason Rice threw two and a third innings for the save.

Constantine fires no-hitter

Cole Constantine threw a five-inning no-hitter, striking out seven and finishing one walk from a perfect game, as Windham beat Pelham 13-0. Adam Koza led the Jaguar offense with three hits and four RBIs. Mason Rice, Constantine and Keegan Parker each added two RBIs for the winners.
