 Yorbelis Marte got the winning RBI in the fifth inning as Greater Lawrence defeated Essex Tech 3-2. Victor Roa got the win, pitching seven strong innings.

Jerison Andujar did it all in Greater Lawrence's 5-2 win over Malden. He got the win 4.1 innings of 2-hit, no-run relief with five strikeouts. offensively, he was 3-for-3 with two runs, an RBI and two steals.

Victor Roa did plenty of damage out of the No. 9 spot, going 2 for 3 with three RBIs, and was the winning pitcher as Greater Lawrence earned its first victory of the season, 12-10 over Northeast. Roderick Martinez added two hit and scored twice and Christopher Frica drove in two for the Reggies.

Brendan Dodier pitched 2.2 innings of shutout relief with 4 Ks and also scored two runs to lift Whittier past Greater Lawrence, 8-4. Ryan Gregoire got the win and Manny Cepeda added two hits and two runs. The Reggies' Casey Neilon scored twice.

Whittier scored seven runs in the second and eight in the fifth in an 18-4 romp over Greater Lawrence. Manny Cepeda was 3 for 3 with two RBIs and three runs scored and winning pitcher Zach Fay was 2 for 2 with two runs scored. Tyler Harrington was 2 for 3 with two RBIs and two runs scored. For the Reggies, Chris Frica homered over the fence onto the Whittier track.
