The defending state champion Timberlane volleyball team fell to Hollis-Brookline, 3-2, in the NHIAA Division 1 quarterfinals. The Owls were led by Jake Morrier with 19 kills and Alex Kakouris with 36 assists in the effort.

Jaguars top Owls

Windham opened the season by sweeping defending state champion Timberlane, 25-20, 25-29, 25-19, for a 3-0 win. Timberlane's Jacon Stewart led with 11 kills, while Windham's Tilman Pitcher had 10. Neil Rea led the Jaguars with 24 assists, while Alexi Kakouris had 22 for the Owls. Timberlane's Cameron Ross led all players with 16 digs.
