Hunter Hazard led the way with 11 kills and 7 service points, but the Pinkerton volleyball team fell to third-seeded Goffstown, 3-0, in the NH quarterfinals. The Astros end the season 10-8.

After losing the first two sets, it looked like the Pinkerton volleyball team's season was heading towards the end. But the Astros weren't going to give up. They won the third and fourth set to tie up their Division 1 first round matchup against Winnacunnet, then took the decisive fifth set, 15-13, to earn the dramatic 3-2 comeback win. Hunter Hazard led the way with 26 kills, 8 service points, 2 aces and 2 blocks for the No. 6-seeded Astros, who will be at No. 3 Goffstown in the quarterfinals on Tuesday (6 p.m.). 

Behind 13 kills and 11 service points from Hunter Hazard, Pinkerton moved back to.500 (7-7) with an easy sweep of Farmington.

Trailing by two sets, the Pinkerton volleyball team came back to win the next three to earn a 3-2 match win over Winnacunnet. Hunter Hazard was the catalyst for the comeback with his team-high 27 kills and 3 aces, and both Andy Bolduc and Justin Dunne had 5 blocks.

Pinkerton volleyball handed Keene its first loss of the season, winning the fourth and fifth set to overcome a 2-1 deficit and win, 3-2. On his birthday, Hunter Hazard led with 23 kills, while Justin Dunne led the way with four blocks in his first ever varsity match.

Salem volleyball took down Pinkerton 25-16, 25-13, 30-28, to earn a 3-0 sweep. Jackson Cain led Salem with 12 kills, while Roman Fabrizio had 30 assists and Jarrett Dennis chipped in 14 service points. Hunter Hazard had six kills, seven assists and two aces for Pinkerton.

Jake Morrier and Jacob Stewart combined for 27 kills as Timberlane swept rival Pinkerton, 3-0. Alex Kakouris had 31 assists to lead the Owls, and Sean Galusha had 9 kills and 3 blocks for the Astros.

Behind 13 service points, three aces and nine kills from senior Jackson Cain, Salem bested Pinkerton, 3-1. Senior Hunter Hazard led Pinkerton with eight kills. Salem senior Roman Fabrizio had a match-high 32 assists.
