HOOKSETT, N.H. — Pinkerton created a few golden opportunities in the closing moments.

With their net open and the extra attacker on the ice, the Astros fired shot after shot on net, each time drawing massive cheers from the vocal Pinkerton fans as pucks looked destined for the goal.

Pinkerton hockey made sure to share the wealth in a 9-4 win over Manchester Central. The Astros, who finished their regular season at 15-3, had eight different goal-scorers, led by a pair of goals from Ty Riviere.

Pinkerton freshman Cooper Flinton remained composed as time winded down in regulation. With two seconds left, he delivered a beautiful pass from behind the net right to the stick of Tyler Whiting, who buried it to give the Astros a dramatic 3-2 victory over Concord. 

Pinkerton's Colin Leighton and Nick Track each scored a first-period goal, and the Astros held on to top previously-unbeaten Windham 2-1 in the Tuscan Blue Devil Classic.

Cody Sullivan broke a tie in the third period with a goal on Ty Riviere's second assist of the game as Pinkerton's hockey team remained unbeaten with 3-2 win over Exeter.

Ty Riviere scored four goals as Pinkerton routed Nashua North 11-0. There were 13 different players who scored or assisted for the Astros (2-0).
