Triton girls basketball sent out its three senions as winners on Tuesday, beating Rockport on Senior Night 54-23. Meredith Kennedy scored 12 points, Kate Carter and Emily Karvielis scored 10 points each, and the Vikings collectively held Rockport to just seven points in the second half. Triton will wrap up its season on Thursday at North Reading.

Triton girls basketball hung in tough but couldn't make enough shots in Monday's 46-32 loss to Saugus. The Vikings were led by Meredith Kennedy with seven points and Alex Kennedy and Izzy Cambece each scored six points. Triton will return to action tonight when they host Rockport for Senior Night, honoring seniors Kate Carter, Alex Kennedy and Meredith Kennedy.

Triton girls basketball may have lost 54-49 to Manchester Essex on Tuesday, but Alex and Meredith Kennedy had their best showing of the season together. The twins each scored 17 points, helping the Vikings mount a late fourth quarter comeback that fell just short. Triton fell to 6-9 on the season with the loss.

Triton girls basketball picked up wins on back to back nights, following Monday's win over Saugus with a 53-28 win over Ipswich on Tuesday. Meredith Kennedy scored a season-high 18 points, and Izzy Cambece added 11 points. Triton is now 6-7 going into Friday's game against Pentucket.

Trailing Triton 26-19 at halftime, Amesbury freshmen Katherine LaForte and Mary Bullis came off the bench and gave the team a huge spark in the second half, knocking down two 3-pointers each to prompt a 19-4 third quarter and eventually a 53-44 win. Flannery O'Connor scored 17 of her 19 points in the second half, and Alli Napoli added 17 points. Triton was led by Alex Kennedy with 16 points.

Leading through the first half, the Triton girls basketball team fell behind winless Lynnfield in the third quarter. But the Vikings responded with a huge fourth, holding the Pioneers to four points in the final eight minutes to win 39-34. Alex Kennedy scored a season-high 18 points to lead the way, and Jamie Bell scored eight points, all on free throws.

Triton avenged its loss to Hamilton-Wenham in the Institution for Savings tournament, boucing back to beat the Generals 35-32 at home. Caitlin White led the Vikings with 7 points, including the team's only 3-pointer.

Holding a slim 19-18 lead going into halftime, the Triton girls crushed Rockport in the second half, outscoring the opposition 20-4 in the third quarter en route to a 45-25 win on Tuesday. Alex Kennedy led the way with nine points in a balanced overall offensive effort.

The Triton girls recovered from a 7-0 deficit to start the game to cut the lead to four in the first half, but Masconomet pulled away in the second half to win 58-26. Alex Kennedy led the Vikings with 10 points.
