HAVERHILL — The only thing that mattered to Methuen workhorse Brendan O’Shea was getting those final three outs.

Brendan O'Shea singled in senior Owen Foote with Methuen's lone hit of the game, but that was enough to send the Rangers to a 1-0 victory over Everett. O'Shea (2 innings) and Jacob Thibault (5 innings) combined for the shutout on the hill.

All nine of Methuen's starters recorded a hit in the Rangers' 5-1 win over Tewksbury. Jordan Perdomo went 2 for 3 with an RBI and also threw a complete game two-hitter with 11 strikeouts, and freshman Derek Hoh made a spectacular run-saving catch in his first varsity start.

Brendan O'Shea improved to 4-0 on the season, scattering five hits and allowing just one unearned in a complete-game effort as Methuen beat North Andover 5-1.

Methuen and Chelmsford needed 12 innings to settle things. Brendan O'Shea pitched the first nine innings, and in the top of the 12th the Rangers plated four runs. But Chelmsford respnded with three runs in the bottom of the 12th until O'Shea came back in and recorded the final out.

Jordan Perdomo worked six scoreless innings on the mound, and fueld a six-run fifth inning for Methuen with a two-run single as the Rangers blanked Haverhill 6-0.

Owen Foote had two doubles, a triple and drove in a run for Methuen, which rolled over Lowell 6-1.

Brendan O'Shea was fantastic for Methuen in the team's 5-4 win over Billerica, striking out nine batters while allowing one earned run over seven innings. Brett Blackwell went 3 for 4 as well.

Sophomore Roan Marcano had key hits in the top of the seventh and the decisive ninth inning as Methuen tripped Leominster, 8-4, in extras. Jordan Perdomo had three hits.
