Tim Nutter won the 50 hurdles with a time of 6.7 and jumped a winning height of 5-4 in the high jump to lead Haverhill to its first win of the season (1-4) over Chelmsford 48-38. Haverhill's girls team improved to 3-2 with a 44-41 win over Chelmsford.

The junior is in his first year of indoor track after playing basketball last winter. He did run outdoor track as both a freshman and sophomore. Meanwhile, Zac Borrelli set a personal record in the shot put with a throw of 50 feet, 11 inches.
