Central Catholic Raiders Girls Indoor Track '21-'22

Kvaternik leads North Andover girls to MVC title

Leyla Kvaternik scored North Andover's lone individual title, winning the 1,000 (3:09.53), but the Scarlet Knights still surged to the team title at the MVC Championship with 85 points. The Knights team of Aisling Callahan, Rose Gordon, Luna Prochazkova and Catherine Roche won the 4x800 (10:20.46).
 
Andover star Jodi Parrott won the 55 hurdles (8.45) and long jump (17-7.5), leading the Golden Warriors to second as a team (76). Molly Kiley won the mile (5:12.87) for the Warriors.
 
Central Catholic was third as a team (69 points) led by high jump champ Veralie Perrier (5-2), who also anchored the winning 4x400 relay.

Parrott takes three relay titles

Jodi Parrott, Nikita Palsetia and Shayla Quill won the long jump relay (47-1) and teamed with Ashley Sheldon to take the 4x50 shuttle hurdles (29.50) as Andover placed second as a team at the MSTCA Division 1 Relays. Parrott also joined Maddy Robertson, Olivia Foster and Peyton Levental to win the 4x50 dash (24.73).

Caraballo stars

Methuen's Michael Soucy ran an indoor personal record in the 300 (37.28) while Ranger Miana Caraballo took 12 seconds off her PR in the mile (5:12.65), nearing the school record, at an MVC Meet.

Caraballo keeps rolling

Methuen's Miana Caraballo won the 1,000 with a huge personal-best of 3:11.20 to lead locals at a Merrimack Valley Conference regular season meet. Haverhill's Brenna Corcoran took the 600 (1:44.00), North Andover's Nicole Kroon took the 2-mile (11:53.62) and Central Catholic's Brooke Jankowski won the long jump (16-05.25).
