The Greater Lawrence girls basketball team rebounded from a loss to Whittier on Thursday with a 55-52 win over Shawsheen last night. Miany Molina led the Reggies with 14 points, and Hessey Calixte pitched in 12.

Needing a strong second half, Danielle Lear came up huge with five steals to help Whittier take down Greater Lawrence 64-53. Grace Efosa (31 points), Staci Krafton (17) and Aliyah Talley (14) led the Wildcats in scoring yet again.

Grace Efosa poured in 32 points as Whittier Tech pulled away from Greater Lawrence with a 68-54 victory to clinch at least a share of the Commonwealth Conference title.

Julie Diaz, a 5-foot-1 senior guard, scored a game-high 14 points to lead Greater Lawrence to a 48-32 win over Minuteman.

Greater Lawrence's girls had five players score between six and 10 points in a solid 42-28 victory over Minuteman. The Reggies improved to 3-4.

Kyana Pena scored a game-high 20 points as Greater Lawrence held off Gloucester 41-37 in the Dracut Christmas Tournament.

The Greater Lawrence girls basketball team had its best quarter when it most mattered, rallying with 14 points in the fourth quarter to overtake Notre Dame, 37-34. Kyana Pena led the way with 11 point and Jaslyn Abreu added 10.
