Stewart, Owls win in double-OT

Ryan Boggiatto broke up field, sliced through the defense then sent a pass to Jacob Stewart, who buried the game-winning with under a minute left in double-overtime as No. 7 Timberlane beat No. 12 Merrimack in the Division 1 first round. It was Stewart's second goal of the game.

Seeding battle

Nic Colvin scored his first goal of the season on a penalty kick and Aidan Peretz also scored as Windham won a big Division 1 battle with Timberlane, 2-0. Goalie Preston Neal had an outstanding game for the Jaguars (8-3-2), who now have the same record as the Owls.

Big win for Owls

The Timberlane boys soccer team made a big statement as the playoffs draw closer, taking down previously one-loss Hanover 2-0. Michael Giangregorio and Matthew Barney were the goal scorers, and Dimitri Kakouris pitched his fifth shutout of the year for the Owls (7-2-2).

The Salem and Timberlane boy soccer teams needed some extra time to break their scoreless tie. In the overtime period, it was Kyle Chute who rocketed home the game winner to lead the Blue Devils to victory. It was the first setback of the year for the Owls (5-1-2).
