You'd be hard pressed to find a volleyball team entering the state tournament as hot as Central Catholic is. Led by a 10-kill, 3-block effort from Kevin Stevenson in a 3-0 win over North Andover, the Raiders (18-2) enter postseason play on a 10-game winning streak.

Alex Durham was a menace at the net, recording 25 kills and five blocks to lead Andover to a 3-1 win over North Andover.

Kevin Stevenson tallied 22 kills to lead Central Catholic to a 2-1 victory over North Andover. John Day added 17 service points and 17 digs and Jack Roderick chipped in with 36 assists for the winners.

Clay Ursu had an impressive 7 blocks to go along with 10 kills and 16 digs as North Andover volleyball won its second straight, 3-2 over Billerica.

North Andover volleyball came back from a 2-0 deficit to defeat Andover, 3-2, for its first win of the season. David Soskov notched 11 blocks, Jacob Colon had 22 service points and Eric Doherty had 19 kills and five aces for the Knights. Andover's Troy Kennedy led all players with 32 assists and Zach Dutton had 27 digs for the Warriors.

Every game took extra points, but the Greater Lawrence boys volleyball team eventually pulled out the season-opening 3-0 sweep over North Andover (27-25, 26-24, 27-25). Adoni Jimenez led the Reggies with 14 kills and 4 blocks, and Pablo Sencion added 20 assists.
