Pelham girls basketball led undefeated Portsmouth (18-0) by two at the half, but the Pythons (17-3, 15-2 NH) ended up losing to Division 2's best, 37-30. Danielle Sirois led the Pythons with 12 points, and Olivia Gagnon had seven.

Pelham senior Danielle Sirois scored her 1,000th career point in the Pythons' 60-25 win over Milford. The Southern New Hampshire recruit finished the night with 20 points.

PELHAM - The only thing soft on the court Tuesday night was the piece of cotton sticking from Olivia Gagnon's nose after she took an elbow driving to the hoop.

But that only kept the Pelham junior off the court for a minute or so during the third quarter.

Led by 16 points from Danielle Sirois and 13 points on three 3's from Olivia Gagnon, the Pelham girls basketball team won its sixth game in a row, 52-45, over John Stark.

As the seconds trickled away in regulation, Pelham senior Cheyenne Lee calmly drilled a 3-pointer to help the Pythons beat rival Windham 43-40. Kaleigh Walsh had 20 points for the Jaguars.

Pelham's Danielle Sirois continued her fast start to the season on the final day of the Lady Blue Devil Holiday Classic, dropping 22 points in a victory over host Salem. Jordyn Franzen had a team-high 17 for the Blue Devils.

Brooke Kane erupted for 30 points to help Pinkerton beat Pelham 63-38.

Pelham's Olivia Gagnon drained four 3-pointers and finished with 20 points in a victory over Goffstown. Danielle Sirois added 18 points for the Pythons, who improved to 2-0.

Danielle Sirois scored 16 points and Olivia Gagnon added 11 as Pelham opened the season with a 53-31 win over Kearsarge.
