Headstrong Owls lace them up for cancer research

Anyone who saw Timberlane play this year had to have noticed an odd new addition to the Owls uniforms | lime green shoelaces.

The laces, which stood out rather garishly against the maroon and white of Timberlane's uniforms, are part of a campaign to raise awareness and money for cancer.

Chris Hinton scored six goals and Ryan Lewis and Jake Schlichte added three apiece as Timberlane hammered Bishop Brady 17-4. Derek Furey added two goals. Ryan Rothwell dished out four assists and Hinton and Matt Bouchard added three helpers apiece.
