Windham's wrestling team won the battle of undefeated Division 2 teams, outlasting Milford 42-34. Jon Ferri picke d up his 100th career win with a pin at 195 while Nick Sawyer (113), Sam Cavallaro (126) and Patrick Hume (285) had first-period pins and Peter Caron sealed the win with a 4-1 decision at 132.

In what has turned into one of the tougher tournaments in northern New England, Windham placed fourth in the 21-team Capital Classic in Concord.
Bishop Hendricken was first with 195 1/2 points, 17 points ahead of the runner-up host Crimson Tide. Windham had 153 points, 21 points and two places better than nearby rival Pinkerton.

Windham had a rough day against tough competition, losing dual meets to St. John's Prep, Lincoln-Sudbury and Shawsheen before toppling West Springfield. Sam Cavallaro had a banner day at 113, however, with three pins (including one in 10 seconds) and a technical fall and Mike Tanguay was 4-0 with four opins at 182. Heavyweight Patrick Hume was 3-1 at heavyweight, his only loss to North Andover's Jay Carnevale of St. John's Prep, who is unbeaten on the year.
