Marisa Agganis came up huge for Georgetown, scoring 15 points and grabbing 14 rebounds in a 50-41 victory over Amesbury. Kristin Hogan led all scorers with 18 points for the Royals.

Pentucket's girls basketball team won its second game in two days, crushing Georgetown 71-45. Five players scored in double figures for the Sachems (5-3), including Tess Nogueira, who went out of Sunday's game with bruised ribs but scored 12 points and had eight rebounds in just three quarters. "We played pretty well, but now we have to get ready for North Andover on Wednesday," said Pentucket coach John McNamara.

Morgan Gott netted 18 points and grabbed six rebounds while Ali Newbury scored eight points and added seven rebounds but Georgetown girls basketball lost 54-43 to Medford.
