TJ Gannon scored twice and Methuen's defense held strong in the final five minutes of a wild 6-5 win over Haverhill. Curt Leblanc, Matt Bauchman, Cam Adeksa and Jared McAdam also scored for Methuen.

Haverhill threw a scare into unbeaten Boston Latin Academy before falling 3-1. BLA finally clinched it on a late empty-net goal. Zach Grundy (27) came up big in net for the Hillies. Tom Maguire scored the goal while Pat Fitzgerald and John Rankin had stellar all-around games.

Haverhill hockey coach Spike Sprague was pleased that his team's hard work in practice was rewarded in a 5-2 victory over Newton South. With eight Hillies hitting the scoresheet, Tom Maguire led the effort with a goal and two assists.

 After Haverhill battled back from a 2-0 deficit to tie the score, Stoneham scored the game-winner with five seconds left in the game for the 3-2 victory in the first game of the Haverhill Tournament. Jeff Roberts scored both goals for the Hillies, who outshot Stoneham 34-23, and Jack Franklin had two assists.

Jeremy Noone netted three goals for his first career hat trick during his three-year varsity career. 

Noone and Haverhill won 4-3 over Dracut. 

Tom Maguire added a goal and two assists.
