Every Monday RallyNorth.net will salute bone-crunching linebackers, elusive running backs, immovable linemen and rocket-armed quarterbacks from the 37 area high school football teams. We've dubbed them Power Players and you won't want to miss who the best and the brighest were from the weekend's schoolboy gridiron action.

Ilya Levin, Swampscott: Sophomore running back and inside linebacker was a force on both sides of the ball, rushing for a game-high 76 yards and making eight tackles in the Big Blue's 22-6 victory over Medfield in the Division 3 Super Bowl at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro.

Justin Mitchell, Swampscott: Senior wideout caught a slant pass and took it 49 yards to the house for the Big Blue's first score. He also scurried 15 yards on a fake punt, giving his team a key first down and setting up their second score.

Ryan Squires, Swampscott: Senior outside linebacker had one of the biggest individual plays of the afternoon, stuffing Medfield RB Marc Hostovsky on 4th-and-goal and knocking him out of bounds with one second until halftime, keeping his team in the lead at 13-0 at the time.

Brian Palangi, Swampscott: Senior captain was a rock on the Swampscott line, holding down the fort at left guard while creating all kinds of havoc on the defensive line at nose tackle, picking up five solo tackles in the process.

Nate Adames, Greater Lawrence: He was tired, cold and limping from a hurt ankle suffered early in the game. But nothing was going to stop Nate Adames. The super senior rushed 27 times for 158 yards and all three touchdowns, providing all but 32 yards of the Reggies' offense and giving Greater Lawrence the 19-6 Division 3A Super Bowl win over East Boston. The All-Scholastic lock finished his senior season with a modern-area record 2,573 yards, and scored 37 touchdowns, second most since the Eagle-Tribune began keeping records in 1984.

Juan Olivo, Greater Lawrence: He hadn't even played until Thanksgiving, but he may well have earned himself a college scholarship with his Super Bowl performance for the Reggies. The 6-foot, 260-pound defensive tackle was all over the field with a team-high 15 tackles and the sack that closed out the victory. Even TV analyst and former New England Patriots QB Scott Zolak was stunned by his speed and agility, along with the Eastie players.

Jason Orsini, Greater Lawrence: The Reggies led by one, and Eastie was driving early in the fourth quarter. But on fourth-and-short, Orsini registered his lone tackle of the game, dropping Jets FB Frank Brown for a 3-yard loss. Adames scored his second touchdown of the day a few plays later, and Eastie never managed another meaningful drive.

Greater Lawrence's offensive line: Adames was great, and he benefited from enormous holes opened by the big fellas up front. The line, consisting of Kevin Fritschy, Jorge Cruz, Arian Alicea, Rogers Bencosme and Luis Veras dominated the Jets up front from kickoff to the final whistle on a dry, freezing day not conducive to good line player. They deserved a great deal of credit for Adames' success.

Andrew Fulford, Gloucester: The senior captain played a key roll scoring two touchdowns and running for 105 yard on 10 carries. Fulford also had a key interception which ended Hingham's first drive of the second quarter.

Anthony Enderle, Gloucester: Enderle ran for two touchdowns and ran for 2 two point conversions. He was key to running over Hingham.
