A pair of junior newcomers helped lead the way as the Lawrence boys track team clipped Greater Lawrence 48-38. Jose Adames captured the 50 dash in 5.7 and Kery Cajou cleared 5-10 to take first in the high jump. Another junior, Francisco Puello, won the 50 hurdles for the second straight meet. For the Reggies, Hector Payano ran 38.7 for first in the 300.
