In a tri-meet at Winnekenni Park in Haverhill, Chelmsford's Ali Wood ran the second fastest time run on the course, a winning time of 18:03. Haverhill runner-up Jackie Solimine (18:13) and third-place finisher Riley Gilmore (18:19) ran the third and fourth fastest time ever by a Hillie. Senior Katherine Becker, who finished 10th for the Hillies, had her best time on the course by a whopping 1:26.

North Reading junior Nicole Roberts, who set a school home course record last week, placed first for the fifth time this year in a tri-meet with Masconomet and Amesbury.

Anoush Shehadeh set a course record at St. Paul's with an 18:31 for 5K as the Phillips Academy girls cross country team prevailed with a 22-33 victory.

Whittier's girls cross country team made amends for an earlier loss to Presentation of Mary by defeating the Panthers 20-41. Sydney Moran was first overall for PMA in 21:01 on the rain-soaked 5K course but Whittier had the superior depth led by Corinne Bilodeau in fourth and Kaitlin Wright in fifth.

Haverhill's girls cross country team defeated Andover and Methuen in the rain to improve to 6-2.

Pelham remains among the top three girls cross country teams in Division 3 with its sweep of Bishop Brady. Shannen Arsenault continued her strong season, running a 19:45 5K to take top honors.

With five of the top seven finishers, Pinkerton closed out its regular cross country season strong with a sweep of host Exeter, Keene and Spaulding. Ariel Vailancourt was runner-up overall for the Astros, whose scorers all finished within 35 seconds of each other.

Lauren Oligny placed first for the first time, pacing Timberlane's girls cross country team to a 23-36 victory over Salem. Caryn Ojemann also ran well for the Owls, who also won the boys meet, taking third.

Even with senior Kate Farrell out due to illness, Windham swept Merrimack Valley and Trinity in cross country. Senior Emma Boyd and Kristen Tilley ran 1-2 on Senior Day for the Jaguars.
