Norgaisse's comeback

Alex Norgaisse of Haverhill, who blew out her knee last year, had an impressive debut as Brooks girls basketball blitzed Pingree in its season opener 57-38. Nargaisse scored 9 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to back Thalia Garcia, who pumped in 26 points.

Ian Speliotis netted three goals as Brooks routed Pingree 7-1.

Max Shusterman, Greg Conrad, Eliot Heher and Vito Bavaro also scored for Brooks, which outshot Pingree 55-10.
