WINTHROP — Ojany Belliard had another big day for Greater Lawrence football, rushing for 222 yards and three touchdowns while adding a pick-six in fourth to help beat Winthrop 48-13.

Second-seeded Pentucket looked fresh off its first-round bye, as the Sachems swept No. 7 Winthrop 5-0 to advance to the Division 3 North sem-finals to face No. 11 Weston Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. at Pentucket. Connor Aulsen had a perfect 6-0, 6-0 match in the first singles spot for the Sachems. 

Liz Brady scored three goals and assisted on three more as Haverhill rolled over Winthrop 13-4.

Mike Gleason was again a force in net, making 35 saves as No. 11 Haverhill continued its playoff run by upsetting No. 3 Winthrop 3-2 last night in the Division 2 North quarterfinals.

WINTHROP — Winthrop’s defense was unable to consistently contain Cody Rothwell (271 yards rushing, 4 TDs) in a 26-21 loss on Saturday night.

Pat Bjork poured in 21 points to lead No. 4 seed Georgetown to a 56-48 victory over 13th seed Winthrop.
