Salem's softball team lost its first regular season game in two years and second in three years, 5-2 to undefeated Dover. Brenna Morrissey had two hits for the Blue Devils (5-1).

Trailing by three going into the seventh inning, Salem exploded for seven runs in the frame on the way to beating Nashua North 10-6. Joe Lemenger starting the inning by being hit by a pitch and scored a run, then later in the inning singled in two and scored another run. Mitch Dufton contributed a two-run double, Jared Williamson and Jack White each singled home a run and Matt Survailas scored on a wild pitch during the big inning.

Sophomore Katie Dawson's first varsity start as pitcher couldn't have gone better, yielding only one hit without a walk over five innings in Salem's 13-0 win over Nashua South. Sam Cloutier supported Dawson's efforts with three hits and great defensive play at shortstop.

In what was supposed to be far more competitive, Salem's unbeaten (5-0) volleyball team swept Windham 25-14, 25-19, 25-14. Eric Denning combined seven kills and three blocks for the Blue Devils.

Matt Descoteaux won 8-0 at third singles and teamed with Austin Wilson to capture second doubles as Salem ripped Dover, 8-1, for its first win of the spring.

Sophomore Katie Dawson (2 innings) and freshman Megan O'Brien (2 innings) shined in relief as Salem beat Winnacunnet 11-1. Sam Cloutier and Stephanie Lovett each had three hits.

Lauren MacGregor captured the 100 meters (13.41) and triple jump (34-10.5) to help lift Salem past Concord 76-68.

Shari Juranovits scored six goals and Jenelle Borges added four goals as Salem pounded Memorial 16-7.

Kaitlyn Arsenault threw a complete-game six-hitter with seven strikeouts and no earned runs as Salem beat Bedford 3-1. Seana Cloutier had two hits, a run and an RBI.

Jake Lakos dominated the field with eight goals and three assists, lifting Salem over Manchester West, 19-7.
