Eric Kaasila scored 18 kills, 25 service points and six aces to help Timberlane rally after losing the first two games to edge Londonderry 14-25, 14-25, 25-23, 25-23, 15-12. Cam Donnelly added eight blocks for the winners.

Londonderry boys tennis won five of its six singles matches to beat Keene 5-3 and advance to the semifinals of the Division 1 tournament. The No. 5 Lancers will play at top-seeded Bedford tomorrow.

Londonderry's hard-hitting baseball shelled a decent Exeter team 16-0 as four players had at least two hits and five had two or more RBIs. Jake Cassidy was 2 for 3 with two RBIS and three runs scored for the Lancers (14-4).

It was appropriate that Sirena Paiva, the only senior on the team, rapped a single that scored Julie Hamilton (double) with the walk-off, game-winner as Londonderry downed Exeter, 6-5 in eight innings.

Leah Hunt continued her hot hitting, going 4 for 4 with five RBIS, which included a three-run homer in the sixth, as Londonderry clubbed Pinkerton 12-5. Colleen Lewis also had a home run and three hits as the Lancers (8-6) had 14 hits overall.

Londonderry's girls scored nine girls in the first half and then held on for an exciting 12-11 victory over archrival Pinkerton.  Alexa Bedell and Chelsea Leavis both had hat tricks for the Lancers.

WInning pitcher Leah Hunt had three doubles and was 5 for 5 as Londonderry (7-5) smacked Nashua South 15-8. Colleen Lewis added three hits and four RBIs.

Ryan Moloney kept Salem bats quiet over six innings, sending Londonderry to a comfortable 7-2 victory.

Extending their winning streak to seven games, the 9-3 Lancers remain at the top of the Division 1 standings with Concord (8-3), Merrimack (7-3) and Spaulding (7-4) all lurking close behind.

In her first varsity at-bat, Salem freshman Holly Peterson stroked a two-run single with two outs in the sixth for what proved to be the winning runs  in a 7-4 victory over Londonderry.

Londonderry's softball team completed a terrific win with three wins, capped by an impressive 12-4 win over Pinkerton. The bottom of the order came up big for the Lancers (6-4) as Colleen Lewis had three hits and had four RBIs, while Cassidy Litch had three hits  and four RBIs and Lauren Reinhold had two hits and scored four runs.
