Eric Kaasila scored 18 kills, 25 service points and six aces to help Timberlane rally after losing the first two games to edge Londonderry 14-25, 14-25, 25-23, 25-23, 15-12. Cam Donnelly added eight blocks for the winners.

Leah Hunt continued her hot hitting, going 4 for 4 with five RBIS, which included a three-run homer in the sixth, as Londonderry clubbed Pinkerton 12-5. Colleen Lewis also had a home run and three hits as the Lancers (8-6) had 14 hits overall.

Ryan Moloney kept Salem bats quiet over six innings, sending Londonderry to a comfortable 7-2 victory.

Extending their winning streak to seven games, the 9-3 Lancers remain at the top of the Division 1 standings with Concord (8-3), Merrimack (7-3) and Spaulding (7-4) all lurking close behind.

Terrific week

 

Londonderry's softball team completed a terrific win with three wins, capped by an impressive 12-4 win over Pinkerton. The bottom of the order came up big for the Lancers (6-4) as Colleen Lewis had three hits and had four RBIs, while Cassidy Litch had three hits  and four RBIs and Lauren Reinhold had two hits and scored four runs.
